Beautiful Walks Right On Your Doorstep
Exploring the South Downs directly from the farm couldn't be easier. The farm has a footpath passing along the boundary allowing quick access to footpaths and bridleways within the area, offering beautiful walks through local farmland and woodland.
Kingley Vale was designated a National Nature Reserves in 1952. The reserve contains one of the finest yew forests in western Europe, including a grove of ancient trees which are among the oldest living things in Britain. This is only about a 1 hour walk from the farm.

5 minute drive
The National Trust property Uppark is just a 5 minute drive away. This gem on the South Downs was rescued after a major fire in 1989. The House and the gardens are open for visitors. They often have special events on, so it is worth checking on their website to see what is on.

Situated in the pretty town of Midhurst. The Cowdray Heritage Ruins are one of England’s most important early Tudor houses and Cowdray is known to have been visited by both King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. In September 1793, whilst undergoing repairs and refurbishments for the impending marriage of the 8th Viscount Montague, a devastating fire took hold and most of the property was destroyed. The Kitchen Tower is the only part of the mansion to remain intact.
You are able to walk in the parkland that surrounds the ruins and along the River Rother, there are many artisan coffee shops and restaurants in Midhurst to enjoy.
