The Story of Bow Hill Farm

About Bow Hill Luxury Lodges

The perfect place to unwind and relax

The History of Bow Hill

Anita and Philip are the third generation of the family to live and work at Bow Hill Farm. Philip’s grandfather owned a large static caravan park before moving to Bow Hill Farm in the early seventies.

Sheep farming has been the main farming activity over the past 30 years, with the farm operating as a grassland farm with a strong emphasis on ensuring the farm provides an ideal natural habitat for the wildlife and plants.

The benefits of this hard work can now be seen in the abundance of wildlife, such as buzzards and red kites that visit daily.

In recent years Philip has also developed and refurbished two buildings on the farm to operate as luxury lodge accommodation - The Old Dairy and Farmhouse Lodge. All the accommodation on the farm provides spectacular views of the South Downs and the surrounding countryside and the opportunity to sit back and relax.

Anita and Philip are very much a hands-on team when it comes to providing their guests a luxury break in the West Sussex countryside. They work daily to keep all the facilities clean and tidy, grass and hedges cut and accommodation ready for their guests.

“We want every guest to experience a quality stay, even for just a couple of nights – this is your time.”
